Placing an order

In order to facilitate a seamless checkout we require you to create an account upon your first purchase. This also grants you other advantages, such as accessing your order history or wish list. Additionally, when we have special offers, our registered users will be among the first to know.

Once items have been ordered, a confirmation page will show a summary of your transaction. An email version of this order summary will be sent instantly, provided that we have an accurate email address. Depending on the nature of your product, either our courier or our logistics department will contact you with information on your shipment status or to schedule a delivery.

Stock

In case any item in your order happens to be (temporarily) out of stock, our logistics department will contact you promptly with the available information and options.

Pricing

We make every attempt to have consistent pricing throughout our stores and our website. In the event you find a discrepancy in pricing, please inform us via contact@eichholtzamsterdam.com.

Shipping & delivery

At Eichholtz Amsterdam, we aim to deliver your purchase with excellent service, from Monday to Friday. Where possible, DPD will handle shipping your order. 
Larger items, like furniture and select non-furniture, that due to size cannot be shipped by DPD, your purchase will be delivered by experienced white glove delivery professionals within 7 days in The Netherlands. 

Preparing for your delivery

It’s your responsibility that all furniture items delivered can access the desired location through your doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators and around corners. For instructions on measuring your home's spaces to ensure items will fit, please contact our support department via support@eichholtzamsterdam.com.
Please note that the above does not apply to smaller items delivered by DPD.

Scheduling your delivery

Our logistics department will get in touch with you to schedule an appointment for delivery. Please notify them of any special requirements necessary to ensure a successful delivery. For example, the arrangement of an external lift, the need to navigate narrow roads and driveways, restricted delivery time frames due to local ordinances and gated entry access.

Please also inform us if there is special contact connected to the delivery location, like your concierge or any other staff member, that we need to keep in the loop.

What to expect on white glove delivery day

The items that qualify for white glove delivery include delivery inside your home, where experienced service professionals will carefully unpack and assemble each item and place it in your room of choice. Protective pads will be applied if needed. Our team will wear - obviously - white gloves, shoe protection and leave no trace. For your convenience, all packing materials will be removed.

Together with you, or the contact on location, our team will closely inspect your item(s) before they leave your home.

* Please note that installation is not included. If you want our authorized mechanics to mount for example your lighting, heavy mirrors or wall decoration, let us know when scheduling your delivery. Additional costs might apply. A personal offer will be made by our logistic team, catering to your unique situation

During your scheduled delivery an authorized individual must be home to accept and inspect your items and sign the delivery receipt. If any imperfection is noted at the time of delivery, Eichholtz Amsterdam will replace or repair the item at no charge to you. Islands in the Netherlands

Please contact us on support@eichholtzamsterdam.com before confirming your order if your shipping address is located on an island like Texel, Vlieland, Terschelling, Ameland or Schiermonikoog. Additional shipping charges and different delivery schedules may apply.

International delivery

All of the above info applies to shipments within The Netherlands. We believe the world is our playground though and happily comfort you wherever you need us! Please contact support@eichholtzamsterdam.com for made-to-measure shipping solutions or get in touch with our Design Studio and expect everything.

Returns

If it's just not you, it’s no problem. You can return your orders within 14 days. To return items delivered by our white glove delivery professionals contact our customer service, or use the return form below.

Please note

Eichholtz Amsterdam reserves the right to refuse returns. Returned items should be in as-new condition: clean, undamaged, unused and in original packaging.
This also applies to items delivered by our white glove delivery.

Additionally, if the order was delivered to your address (via DPD or White Glove Delivery) and then returned back to us. The delivery costs in your order will not be refunded. The exception to this is if the items were damaged in transit.

Return to DPD

To return items that were delivered to you by DPD, please use the return label received with your order. Make sure your items are unused and undamaged and returned in the original packaging. You can always contact our customer service for help!
